Meet up with Busy Lizzie
On another note, I love the fact that I live between San Francisco and Los Angeles because it's perfect for meet ups. If you are doing any summer road trips and plan on being in the San Luis Obispo area let me know! We can get wine or ice cream!

As soon as I learn how to drive a standard (when we moved abroad we kept the newer car, my husband's, which happens to be a manual) I'm driving down! It would be so much fun. And I'm totally up for wine AND ice cream :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I lived on the West Coast because I'd totally ask for a meet up. i'd even pay for the ice cream!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a lively time - I would love to meet up with fellow UK bloggers more often, but would need more hours in the day (boo!)

ReplyDeleteI am totally coming back next year hopefully! I have doubled my luggage almost with all the fabric I have bought! Eeeep! Thanks for the meet up it was super fun!
ReplyDeleteOh yay! Liz is so fun, isn't she? I was lucky enough to meet her in NYC last year! :)
ReplyDeleteApparently there is a meetup of some sort this weekend in LA. Called Fabric Weekend 2013. I'm struggling to find an itinerary for it though :( But I initially read about it here: http://lilbitandnan.blogspot.com/2013/05/fabric-weekend-2013-girls-night-out-2013.html
ReplyDeleteI actually live in your neck of the woods - I'm in Santa Barbara, but I worked in Santa Maria for years (for PCPA). I was excited to see another sewist on the Central Coast on Map the Sewintists! I've been doing some work in LA recently and had the pleasure of meeting up with some LA bloggers, it's too fun to talk in real life about sewing!
